In Atrium Hotels our ultimate ambition has always been creating memorable experiences for our guests. But in these unprecedented and difficult times we live in, the safety and well-being of our guests and colleagues is our number one priority. We can honestly say that we have never experienced an event with such a drastic impact on how we live and work as the COVID-19 pandemic. Our thoughts are with the people affected and everyone working around the clock to help those most in need. Now more than ever, we must do the right things and be prepared to take steps beyond what we are typically required.

As the epidemiological situation improves in Europe and many governments are lifting their travel restrictions to Greece, traveling to Rhodes has finally become a reality for this summer, starting in July. As a result, after our successful opening of our resort Atrium Prestige on July 2nd and the announcement of the Atrium Palace opening on July 18th, we have carefully taken all the necessary health & safety measures introducing our new Atrium Care Protocol,  following our strong commitment to responsible and safe travel.

Our Flexible Travel Policy

  • For all new direct bookings, Atrium Hotels is offering a flexible cancellation policy with 100% refund up to 7 days prior arrival. To make a new reservation you can BOOK HERE
  • If you wish to modify your existing reservation, you can carry the deposited amount forward towards a future stay this summer 2020 or in 2021 (any rate difference at time of booking will apply). There is no time limit on when new dates must be decided. We understand that planning is not an option yet and many factors are to contribute to your decision.   • If you have booked directly and are uncertain of travel, we invite you to change your travel dates by contacting our Reservations department at reservations@atriumplatinum.gr or +30 22410 44901 for Atrium Platinum, at reservations@atrium.gr or  +30 22440 31601 for Atrium Palace and at reservations@atriumprestige.gr or +30 22440 46222 for Atrium Prestige. If you haven’t got new dates in mind, we can offer you a Voucher equal to the value of your deposit, for use in a new booking in season 2020 or 2021. In addition, as a gesture to our valued guests, we are offering a Credit Voucher eligible for consumption in our hotel (all departments like restaurants, Spa Centers, etc., excluding mini market & retail stores) equal to 10% of the value of your deposit. If the Voucher is not redeemed within 18 months, the original deposit will be paid in full.

Our Commitment to Health and Safety – The Atrium Care Protocol

As we collectively respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, Atrium Hotels continue to ensure that the health and safety of our guests remains our top priority. We recognize that the expectations and needs of the hotel experience have changed and may continue to change. Our goal is to instill the same level of trust and confidence in Atrium Hotels as ever before.

On that account, in our newly developed Atrium Care Protocol we have introduced strict health and safety practices with a main focus on three key areas: enhanced hotel cleanliness, heightened guest safety, and empowering employees through health and safety training.

Some of our services and facilities will be modified due to social distancing guidelines and health and safety procedures. Although this new Atrium Hotels experience might look different, we will continue to deliver the same seamless, intuitive and personalized service for which we are known.

The Atrium Care Protocol aims at heightening our already stringent practices around food handling, sanitization, disinfection and cleaning. In compliance with guidelines and regulations by International Health Authorities (WHO, CDC), the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Tourism, local health agencies and public health officials, our standards have been further enhanced via our certification by leading companies in Health & Safety such as A-Cert, Cristal International & Ecolab. Our lifelong commitment in excellence, as well as sustainable and responsible travel, has led to numerous prestigious awards and recognition over the years. Our sole ambition is simple:

Our Commitment to the Community and Environment

During the hard times of the pandemic, in Atrium Hotels we aspired to be an example of social responsibility and altruism not only when it comes to our guests and employees, but also to our community. For this reason, we had donated a meaningful amount to the Ministry of Health for the purchase of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) medical equipment to support our fight against COVID-19. Additionally, we are especially caring to the people who work with us, providing our support in many tangible ways, but also to the people who are suffering the most in our local communities.

Furthermore, when it comes to providing eco-conscious and sustainable care for our planet, we strive to be a role model organization in Rhodes. Our lifelong commitment to sustainable practices has led to numerous awards and certifications over the years, such as the Green KeyBlue Flag, TUI Environmental Champions, TUI Holly & TUI Top Quality AwardsTravelifeTripAdvisor Traveler’s Choice & Certificate of ExcellenceHolidayCheck Gold Award and others. Some of our most common practices include sustainable hotel operations via energy conservation, water management, waste water management, recycling and waste reduction, minimal use of single-use plastic items, supporting local products and suppliers as well as sustainability training and seminars to our staff and local professionals. Following the coronavirus pandemic, in addition to the rigorous health and safety actions implemented, we believe there will be an even greater chance to enhance our eco-friendly and sustainable practices e.g. food preparation and service. For this reason, we are currently focusing all our time and resources into the implementation of an extensive Health, Safety and Sustainability Strategy plan for 2020-21, part of which is our Atrium Care Protocol,  in order to ensure the safety of our guests and staff, but also to address our sensitivity for our local environment and community, both ingrained in our Atrium Hotels culture and values.

HOTEL GUEST INFORMATION issued by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels

Guests and staff health and safety is always our Hotel’s number one priority. The Hotel has implemented in accordance with EU and local government guidelines on the management of Coronavirus appropriate procedures to safeguard its guests and staff health and safety whilst guests are staying at the Hotel. It is, therefore, essential that all guests using the Hotel facilities strictly follow measures and guidance given by the hotel to prevent infection and virus transmission to a maximum.

In this regard, while staying at the Hotel you must respect any and all related healthcare measures (indicatively including physical distancing, hand washing, use of face masks).

You must stay in your room if you experience at any time during your stay at the Hotel minor symptoms such as cough, headache, mild fever, and get in touch with the Hotel’s reception immediately.

Upon departure, you are explicitly requested to immediately notify the Hotel if you develop symptoms associated with COVID-19, or obtain a positive test result for COVID-19, within 14 days following departure.

I confirm upon arrival, that I have been properly informed that the Hotel satisfies the provisions of the law regarding the special healthcare protocols (as provided under the Joint Ministerial Decision 1881/29.5.2020 regarding the special healthcare protocols that will apply to the touristic enterprises in light of the measures against COVID-19) and (b) acknowledge that the Hotel shall not be held liable (for the restoration of damage or otherwise), as long as the measures provided under said healthcare protocols are complied with.

I acknowledge that my personal data and information will need to be used by the Hotel, as prescribed under the abovementioned protocols (and particularly in cases of potential or confirmed infections) and expressly agree thereon.

I further confirm that I have read and understood and agree to all the above and all the information given and I have personally informed all parties in my booking who agree with the information given and we will all comply with any other related requirements, measures and protocols notified to us by the Hotel.
